Charles Drewe, founder and CEO of Johannesburg-based Drewe Associates has twenty four years experience in the meetings industry and formed Drewe Associates in 2006. The main core of the business is to provide international and domestic sales & marketing, consulting, research, training and operational solutions to the meetings industry. This includes performance and quality testing of hotels and conference centres, research and lead sourcing on behalf of clients in the international and domestic markets. The strategic partners of Drewe Associates are all well known and long standing 'opinion leaders' in the global meetings, events, sports and entertainment industries. Over the years, they have accumulated a substantial expertise and a wide network to be able to provide in-depth and professional consulting, research and assistance. Hospitality Suite was formed in 2010 and brings together three of the most experienced figures in Africa's conference and meetings industry, and aims to bridge the skills gap in the industry at senior management level, at a crucial time for South Africa. Hospitality Suite draws from Charles' experience in the meetings and conferencing industry. The other two members are Angela James of Service Warriors, who specialises in business strategy, branding and learning and talent management for the industry and Allan Clingham a veteran hospitality specialist, who has extensive operational experience across all aspects within the running of hotels and restaurants.
